Sirmione is located near the Milan-Venice railway line, but there is no Sirmione railway station. Arriving from the West we recommend you get off at the Desenzano station, while arriving from the East we recommend you get off at the Peschiera station. In both cases, you will then have to take a bus to Sirmione.

Sirmione is connected by bus with the following cities: the more distant Verona and Brescia (travel time: about an hour) or the closest Peschiera and Desenzano (travel time: about 20 minutes).

For those arriving from more than 30 km away from Sirmione, the most suitable route is the A4 motorway (Milan-Venice): there is a Sirmione exit from which, following the directions, you can get to the historic center.
